Woke up this morning - gorgeous sunny day in London. Temps to hit 30 today. Until this morning I hadn't been running for over a week....I was starting to get worried! Enjoyed a lovely run in to work though and am raring to go again. I have 2 1/2 weeks until Italy - am really going to try hard this week to eat well, exercise loads and try and shift another 3 pounds beforer hols. Here goes...............

Sad day tody - Woke up to hear the news that Michael Jackson died yesterday aged 50 from a heart attack. Everyone is so shocked.

First comment.....
Yay - today at work a person came up to me and asked whether I had lost weight! YES - it is now starting to show.....I think once I lose another three or four pounds more people will hopefully begin to notice.

Winterwell
I have just got back from a weekend at a wicked boutique festival. It was amazing. I put in a lot of dancing and not much eating. As a result I am now 11st5 or 159 lbs. I can't believe I am actually in the 150s now. Am really pleased.

Running is my lifeline
I am still so pleased that I am running, at least every other day now without fail. Yesterday I ran to work, its about 6km and then I ran home from work, a slightly shorter route at probably 5.5km. I then cycled 10 mins to my ballet class, one hour 15 mins of ballet, then cycled 10 mins home. I don't think it is possible to fit any more exercise in one day in than that!

I weighed in this morning at 161 lbs (11st 7) - am still running loads. Have relaxed slightly on the food front - need to get strict there again

Things are going well. I ran to work yesterday. Got on the scales this morning to see another pound gone - hurrah! Am now 162lbs, or 11st 8 - I can't wait to get down in to the 150's.

I ran 5km to work on Monday and again on Tuesday. I felt exhausted today so I couldn't run to work. Cycled in instead.
I also attended my 1 1/2 hrs of ballet on Monday which was fun.
On the eating front I am still being careful but I can feel myself starting to allow one or two more snacks (....and the dreaded odd pint of beer) that I wouldn't have touched last week - I need to nip this in the bud and get strict again. Am currently eating a ham sandwhich for lunch, no butter, no mayo. Breakfast was a bowl of muesli and a small banana.
Tonight I will be cycling about 10 km to my friend's house for dinner. Will not be getting on the scales until Sunday so there is plenty of time to be good! x
